Reading Life as of 10/17/2020

So, along with a new favorite series this week, I also finished a series. If I hadn't had a different audio book already waiting for me at the library, I would absolutely have already started the third book in the Court of Thorns and Roses series. It's making me so happy right now. Instead, I will be listening to another of Mercedes Lackey's fairy tale retellings, the Black Swan. I'm looking forward to that, too.

I definitely think I made the right choice when I chose to read fairy tale retellings and inspired stories this year. It's been one of the few bright lights this year. I still have over 170 on my Goodreads list for this year to choose from. No, I won't even come close to finishing them all this year, but at least I know I have lots of variety.

My goal is to try and finish Winter before NaNoWriMo starts, so I'm going to put all ebooks on pause for now, but I still have plenty of audio books coming next.

Of course, as soon as I'm done with Black Swan and the Winter Duke (because that's actually just waiting for me to pick it up), I will be grabbing the next in the Court of Thorns and Roses series, A Court of Wings and Ruin. I can't wait. :D
