So, along with a new favorite series this week, I also finished a series. If I hadn't had a different audio book already waiting for me at the library, I would absolutely have already started the third book in the Court of Thorns and Roses series. It's making me so happy right now. Instead, I will be listening to another of Mercedes Lackey's fairy tale retellings, the Black Swan. I'm looking forward to that, too.
I definitely think I made the right choice when I chose to read fairy tale retellings and inspired stories this year. It's been one of the few bright lights this year. I still have over 170 on my Goodreads list for this year to choose from. No, I won't even come close to finishing them all this year, but at least I know I have lots of variety.
My goal is to try and finish Winter before NaNoWriMo starts, so I'm going to put all ebooks on pause for now, but I still have plenty of audio books coming next.
